With an all-out effort, Bombacı Mülayim's Kadri Erdemer threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ludomil Wiatrak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mecnun Kamil in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kadri Erdemer saved Antakya♡HATAY from getting behind. Battal Tanzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Kadri Erdemer made a huge save. The supporters of Antakya♡HATAY booed when Bombacı Mülayim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymundo Hasche didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Emin Türköne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Antakya♡HATAY's Philippe Brunel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Luis Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Kadri Erdemer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bombacı Mülayim. The Antakya♡HATAY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Antakya♡HATAY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luis Gimenez was slow to take the kick. During this time Bombacı Mülayim's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Antakya♡HATAY's goalie and right to Bilge Kağan Abay. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Antakya♡HATAY's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Kadri Erdemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Tanzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mecnun Kamil to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Antakya♡HATAY's goal looked a bit too open when İlmi Eker came free, but Kadri Erdemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
