Eulalio Jakes hit a great ball. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoman Karaičić in the 13th minute of play. Thornhill City's attentive Dejan Jovanić managed to snatch the ball when Eulalio Jakes made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Matti Erkiner sped through Thornhill City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Staniša Šorgić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoman Karaičić in the 23rd minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Heinz-Gerd Bonin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Thornhill City got a freekick which was hit by Sima Ignjatović. 33 minutes into the game, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Matti Erkiner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Thornhill City booed when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cederique De Meur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heinz-Gerd Bonin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radoman Karaičić went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thornhill City's Damjan Stevančević was substituted for Momir Ćirić. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ninoslav Mijanović in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ninoslav Mijanović in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heinz-Gerd Bonin saved 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz from getting behind. Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matti Erkiner in the 71st minute of play.
