Hammarby IF's Frans Mossberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edwin 雷源 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Hök, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Tatomir in the 47th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Ola Bremming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Bremming was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

With an all-out effort, Hammarby IF's Edwin 雷源 threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celedonio Dominguez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 84 minutes Ticul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaltino Paes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jonas Hök got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edwin 雷源 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ticul's goalkeeper Edwin 雷源, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute David Israeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Dominguez in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin 雷源 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geraldo Correia made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hammarby IF's Ola Bremming. The Hammarby IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hammarby IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
