Dimitar Vetzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Nicola in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's goal looked a bit too open when Jindřich Benc came free, but Dimitar Vetzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitar Vetzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jindřich Benc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venko Petrov in the 13th minute of play forced FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes FC Bansko got a freekick which was hit by Paun Atkov. 17 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Casciano came free, but Dimitar Vetzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guo Yu Cheng in the 19th minute of play. Dimitar Vetzov came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Jindřich Benc. But to his dismay, Jindřich Benc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jindřich Benc in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitar Vetzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jindřich Benc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's goal looked a bit too open when Venko Petrov came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jindřich Benc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Jindřich Benc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Vetzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Jindřich Benc took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Dimitar Vetzov to make any attempt to save it. If Bernardo Casciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Bansko made a substitution. Nedelcho Gutzov replaced Venko Petrov. FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Nicola in the 73rd minute of play. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedelcho Gutzov in the 76th minute of the match. Dimitar Vetzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Casciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Bernardo Casciano made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitar Vetzov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Breogan Campoo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Magnusson in the 93rd minute of play. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI played a much better game than FC Bansko and deserved their victory. The FC Bansko players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
