Poli AEK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Majorski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpia Koło's zone, Romeo Berceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawel Madej came out of the goal and Romeo Berceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pawel Madej made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Berceanu in the 8th minute. David Skjold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Gigi Tănăsie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Poli AEK's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Adamus came free, but Nicolae Ghiorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Poli AEK's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Adamus came free, but Nicolae Ghiorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, David Skjold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpia Koło's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Skjold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Gartxot in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Berceanu. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyryl Adamus made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wictor Brovall in the 51st minute of play forced Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pawel Madej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Brovall in the 57th minute of the match. Nicolae Ghiorman made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Sylwester Majorski sent off a good shot on target. David Skjold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolae Ghiorman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Adamus in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Cyryl Adamus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolae Ghiorman. The goal made the score 0-3. Sylwester Majorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolae Ghiorman was a little too slow when David Skjold got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-4. Nicolae Ghiorman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylwester Majorski in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute Cyryl Adamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olimpia Koło booed when Poli AEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Berceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Skjold got free with Nicolae Ghiorman in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolae Ghiorman made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Tolek Jarmulowicz sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman got control of the ball when Sylwester Majorski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cyryl Adamus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolae Ghiorman came out and tried to block the shot, but Cyryl Adamus slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman got control of the ball when David Skjold tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Skjold took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolae Ghiorman. Nicolae Ghiorman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Olimpia Koło played a much better game than Poli AEK and deserved their victory. The Poli AEK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
