Boran Kızılateş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beniamin Brodzki having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Porteño Prowess FC's Ismael Cordaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Chus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Porteño Prowess FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Cero Descensos F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Song Yu Chen took the corner. In the 30th minute, Cero Descensos F.C.'s Boran Kızılateş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beniamin Brodzki. Beniamin Brodzki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Rigoberto Chus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Cordaro's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Rigoberto Chus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beniamin Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boran Kızılateş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Porteño Prowess FC's Song Yu Chen to fire away a dangerous shot which Rigoberto Chus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Porteño Prowess FC's Beniamin Brodzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timos Mitrofanis in the 42nd minute of play. Timos Mitrofanis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Porteño Prowess FC's Dobromir Przybylo was substituted for Alberto Ocomardia. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Cordaro to make the kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cero Descensos F.C.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Chus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Cordaro in the 65th minute of play forced Cero Descensos F.C.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Cordaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Chus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play.
