In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charlie Boström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but George Buturugã made a huge save. The supporters of LOI booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hamdi Ortan in the 17th minute of the match. A.A. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sulo Montaña couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Sulo Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renan Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Koenig in the 52nd minute of the match. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 53rd minute of play. A.A. Francana's Elliott Bergsten managed to work through LOI's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elliott Bergsten dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sulo Montaña got free with Renan Melo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOI's Tayyip Taylan was substituted for Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. Fetih Avcu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Secco in the 95th minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The A.A. Francana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LOI's performance. The match ended with a win for LOI.
