In the 13thth minute of the game 邵城沙 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glasston's Carlton Convine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, 邵城沙 notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Glasston's Carlton Convine. Carlton Convine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delfino Suarez was a little too slow when Eddy Watts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 38th minute Honorio Vergas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, 邵城沙 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlton Convine. Glasston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 邵城沙 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Vergas to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlton Convine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Araújo in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van der Vaart in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfino Suarez saved OMONOIA from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Araújo got free with Carlton Convine in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delfino Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Németh in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute 邵城沙 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
