Joélson Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lajos Toldi having to make a save. In the 17th match minute, Millonarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Matteo to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Rolado's late challenge caught a Millonarios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Aresti in the 38th minute of play forced Distribuidores's goalkeeper Pastor Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Distribuidores's goalkeeper Pastor Erlantz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Phelipe. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Benjamin Nuxila made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Nuxila hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Millonarios's Flavio Phelipe that got to make the kick off. If Jonathan Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lajos Toldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Nuxila in the 101st minute of play. 朱挺松 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 105 minutes into the match. In the 107th minute there was a penalty for Millonarios. Carmelo Berenguer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pastor Erlantz. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Distribuidores players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Millonarios.
