In the 25th match minute, Astralis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andolín Herquiñigo to maneuver through the defense. Astralis FC's Tzolo Pisarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Astralis FC from getting a goal against them. FC Star City's Sven-Åke Strömqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Levet in the 28th minute of play. Claude Goubert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Åke Strömqvist having to make a save. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erwin Levet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of FC Star City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sven-Åke Strömqvist had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Gregorio Elija's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mieszko Teofila kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Star City's Sven-Åke Strömqvist got control of the ball when Gregorio Elija tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Star City booed when Astralis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Goubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Andolín Herquiñigo put in a rough tackle. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Astralis FC! 80 minutes into the match, Cezary Brytan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tzolo Pisarski. Astralis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Brytan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Erwin Levet didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 86th minute. Astralis FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Tzolo Pisarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Wiatrak in the 90th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes FC Star City got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Zahemski. After 94 minutes, Hu Jian Yi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astralis FC and the FC Star City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Astralis FC's Hu Jian Yi got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute, Rigoberto Munster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Pietrasz kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.
With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Cezary Brytan in FC Star City was the one to initiate the kick off. 103 minutes into the game, Erwin Levet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astralis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Star City the free kick. In the 104th minute, FC Star City's Witold Wiatrak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tzolo Pisarski. Tzolo Pisarski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. FC Star City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Astralis FC for a fine match.
