Patricio Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute Rosendo Gervaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fran Yeste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Ugutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 20th minute of play forced Juventus EC's goalkeeper Bilbo Arzube to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Dolar in the 22nd minute of play. Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus EC from getting a goal against them. Bilbo Arzube stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wambasther Robben's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Juventus EC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Barcellos Mineiro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oséias Pontes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fran Yeste got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patricio Ugutz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 38 minutes, Jorge Carrascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Carrascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bilbo Arzube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Juventus EC's Walmyr Loyola was substituted for Rosendo Gervaso. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Dolar to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Juventus EC's Walmyr Loyola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When Nilson Leite came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Juventus EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Leite couldn't finish the play. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Luisinho Uribe replaced Dale Dolar. Bilbo Arzube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Carrascal. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Loyola in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Luisinho Uribe notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube. Bilbo Arzube was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Nilson Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilson Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Ugutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmyr Loyola struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Patricio Ugutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus EC. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Carlos-Henrique Casemiro replaced Michael Meertens. Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Fantini in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Marcos Fantini made a precise shot to the right of Bilbo Arzube. Juventus EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Bilbo Arzube took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilbo Arzube didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Fantini went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Marcos Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
