Antonio Sengrat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez sarsfield. 14 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoriy Agapov came free, but Narciso Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of STORM booed when Velez sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qin Kun Xi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Velez sarsfield's zone, Grigoriy Agapov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Frechoso came out of the goal and Grigoriy Agapov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Denis Lavrentev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STORM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez sarsfield the free kick. After 85 played minutes STORM got a freekick which was hit by Denis Lavrentev. In the 87th minute Velez sarsfield were awarded a corner. Fabio Regis went to the cornerflag to take it. After 89 minutes STORM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Regis who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Agustin Bernaldo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Bolshakov got free with Narciso Frechoso in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the game, Roman Bolshakov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Narciso Frechoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kirill Gerasimchuk made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Velez sarsfield's Emil Zbytniewski. 96 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's Walter Pico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Sengrat narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
