After 2 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Di Toma. 4 minutes into the game, Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anders Lundqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonello Di Toma, made in the 7th minute of the game. Donato Balestra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Arturo Di Matteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Durazno got free with Donato Balestra in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calenzano's Achille Sciamanna managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Igor Dzierwa in the 19 minute of the game. Anders Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Di Matteo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 44th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Balestra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Golden Lions FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Calenzano were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Di Matteo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Yaniusky Pardo got a free kick in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Igor Dzierwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calenzano's Pierrot Leenpoels was substituted for Arturo Di Matteo. After 63 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Dzierwa. Donato Balestra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 69th minute of play. Antonello Di Toma kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Antonello Di Toma hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match.
