Deportivo Esmeralda's Santos Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aniol Peña in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute Aniol Peña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Aniol Peña took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Santos Diegotxe to make any attempt to save it. In the 10th minute, Valer Trifu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Esmeralda's goalkeeper Santos Diegotxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Πυργετός Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valer Trifu in the 19th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Anthimos Kousouridis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 22 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's Aniol Peña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Diegotxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Πυργετός Fc's Anthimos Kousouridis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aniol Peña to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Aniol Peña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Diegotxe. Deportivo Esmeralda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aniol Peña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Santos Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aniol Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Aniol Peña. Santos Diegotxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aniol Peña in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aniol Peña in the 94th minute of play forced Deportivo Esmeralda's goalkeeper Santos Diegotxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Esmeralda's zone, Anthimos Kousouridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Diegotxe came out of the goal and Anthimos Kousouridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
