Trapiche's Federico Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's Daniel Endura got a free kick in the 12th minute. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Marquês de Herval from getting a goal against them. The corner led Trapiche's Saverio Osasun to fire away a dangerous shot which Dida Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Garcia got free with Dida Taffarel in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match Marquês de Herval got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaroslaw Pazura ran over to the corner to take the kick. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Moraes in the 25th minute of play. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziggy Marley in the 26th minute of play. Marquês de Herval were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Trapiche's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaroslaw Pazura took the corner. Vinny Junior was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 33 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Moraes came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trapiche's Federico Fe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Alfredo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trapiche's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaroslaw Pazura was slow to take the kick. During this time Marquês de Herval's players had a chance to rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Martins was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Martins in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Gao Xiang Guang. In the 63rd match minute, Trapiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilaver Orbay to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Dorian Moraes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Osasun in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Osasun came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Trapiche's zone, Dorian Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Fe came out of the goal and Dorian Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Dorian Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Federico Fe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Trapiche getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Saverio Osasun hit a great ball. Federico Fe made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Alfredo Martins sent off a good shot on target. Federico Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Martins's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Trapiche's Felipe Garcia got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Federico Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Martins in the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Dorian Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Federico Fe. Dorian Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marquês de Herval had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
