Severino Atauri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Baykan Sönmez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of IM James Liquin HC's Severino Atauri. Severino Atauri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saudade's attentive Valentin Boström managed to snatch the ball when Fulgencio Senio made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, IM James Liquin HC's Fulgencio Senio got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind IM James Liquin HC's goalkeeper Severino Atauri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, IM James Liquin HC's goalkeeper Severino Atauri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baykan Sönmez. Baykan Sönmezs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Severino Atauri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fulgencio Senio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Baykan Sönmez might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Atauri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baykan Sönmez ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, IM James Liquin HC's Severino Atauri got control of the ball when Baykan Sönmez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Garin came free, but Efim Fedotov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baykan Sönmez scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Atauri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severino Atauri made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Baykan Sönmez sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Sergio Ado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IM James Liquin HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saudade the free kick. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Baykan Sönmez took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Severino Atauri to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Baykan Sönmez made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saudade getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zbyszko Tomiczek hit a great ball. Severino Atauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baykan Sönmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Baykan Sönmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Baykan Sönmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baykan Sönmez in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Atauri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Baykan Sönmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baykan Sönmez in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, IM James Liquin HC's Fulgencio Senio got a free kick in the 64th minute. Severino Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baykan Sönmez in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Patrido during the 66th minute.
