An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykan Sönmez in the 6th minute of play forced IM James Liquin HC's goalkeeper Severino Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes IM James Liquin HC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Patrido. In the 11th minute Baykan Sönmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IM James Liquin HC's Severino Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baykan Sönmez in the 13th minute of play. Severino Atauri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baykan Sönmez went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the game, Baykan Sönmez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baykan Sönmez to make the kick off. Severino Atauri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Latif Bican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Atauri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baykan Sönmez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. If Baykan Sönmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Los Valientes getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Latif Bican hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Latif Bican got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of IM James Liquin HC's goalie and right to Valentin Boström. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. IM James Liquin HC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The nice shot from Baykan Sönmez in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Severino Atauri had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Los Valientes were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after IM James Liquin HC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jago Back took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Latif Bican heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Baykan Sönmez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Atauri came out and tried to block the shot, but Baykan Sönmez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 80th minute. 87 minutes into the match, IM James Liquin HC's goalkeeper Severino Atauri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baykan Sönmez. Efim Fedotov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Garin in the 88th minute of the match. The IM James Liquin HC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Valientes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
