An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Luke in the 25th minute of play forced TRINQUETA 1997 FC's goalkeeper Basilio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Venceslao having to interfere. FORMOSA CUCU AFC were furious when Cornelio Benvide was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Cornelio Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Victorio Venceslao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Micael in the 74th minute of play. Cornelio Rey charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Rey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the FORMOSA CUCU AFC defense, Faustino Porfiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorio Venceslao. The FORMOSA CUCU AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorio Venceslao should have stopped the shot. After 82 played minutes FORMOSA CUCU AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Gombal. Faustino Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
