After taking down the ball on Sumaré Sport Club's corner Zé Trigo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio-César van Beek quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Brun in the 70th minute of play. Sumaré Sport Club were victorious despite being under pressure from Altza Herria for much of the match.
