Khvicha Kvaratskhelia took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Roeles. Ralph Roeles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zebastian Bergfeldt hit a great ball. If Maximino Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 16th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Beat Leutwyler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Beat Leutwyler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan de Vlieger in the 18th minute. Johan Saveneij received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beat Leutwyler came out and tried to block the shot, but Johan Saveneij slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Emiliano Caiola suffered a concussion after 25 minutes and had to leave the field. 25 minutes into the game, Timmie Nyemanting was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. B68 Toftir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Julias Rascals Apeldoorn the free kick. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn made a substitution. Hub van Schaik replaced Emiliano Caiola. After 26 played minutes B68 Toftir got a freekick which was hit by Timmie Nyemanting. In the 28th minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beat Leutwyler made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Jan de Vlieger sent off a good shot on target. Beat Leutwyler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of B68 Toftir booed when Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Bergfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save B68 Toftir from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Beat Leutwyler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Jan de Vlieger made a precise shot to the right of Beat Leutwyler. B68 Toftir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia managed to get in a good position for a shot. B68 Toftir's supporters rose to their feet, but Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralph Roeles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in B68 Toftir's zone, Zebastian Bergfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beat Leutwyler came out of the goal and Zebastian Bergfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. B68 Toftir's Bengt-Arne Blomberg was substituted for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 89th minute of play. Hub van Schaik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beat Leutwyler having to interfere. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hub van Schaik in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to B68 Toftir getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Maximino Goi hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Jan de Vlieger made a precise shot to the right of Beat Leutwyler. B68 Toftir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
