Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enrique Cassaretto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 7th minute of play. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Guido Vissenaeken sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Guido Vissenaeken recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of George Forsyth. Guido Vissenaeken showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 13th minute of the match, Ümit Karan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but George Forsyth saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner ended in Jaspar Van Den Broeck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Municipal's George Forsyth did a great save. 16 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Roman came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Evtim Kúrdzhev came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Gaúcho. 22 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Evtim Kúrdzhev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Vissenaeken made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evtim Kúrdzhev in the 57th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 60th minute of the match. Vítor Baia was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Enrique Cassaretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Cassaretto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. CD Municipal's Oalo Dean was substituted for Enrique Cassaretto. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Baia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Buendia in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Oalo Dean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Vítor Baia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The CD Municipal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
