But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Enaut couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Alavedra in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Potts came free, but Santiago Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Enaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Sebastian Speed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SABALEPLUS's Santiago Toli got control of the ball when Calvin Townsley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Ampthill FC got a corner. SABALEPLUS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jack Potts ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jack Potts made a great header on Ampthill FC's corner, it was just that SABALEPLUS's Santiago Toli managed to reach the ball for a save. Bernardo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 37th minute of play. Santiago Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Townsley in the 41st minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Enaut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Potts in the 59th minute of play forced SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Santiago Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Enaut in the 60th minute of play. Santiago Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Potts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The Ampthill FC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Ampthill FC's Marcelino Playo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
