The supporters of Hannover Reds booed when El Pibe Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aljoša Kankaraš didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maksim Lazarevski in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hartmut Klein saved Hannover Reds from getting behind. The El Pibe Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luka Jaćimović should have stopped the shot. Andaç Adahan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hannover Reds fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Pibe Academy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
