Álvaro Perpiñán came out of the goal and Gustaf Tiede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seve Sevilla to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustaf Tiede stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peer Barlov kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Peter Arneke made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Iliyan Glogov. Kenn Fronval showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Fioriti in the 78th minute of the match. AB Tårnby made a substitution. Detlev Gerling replaced Iliyan Glogov. 84 minutes into the game, Javier Carmona threw the ball into play from the sideline. AB Tårnby's Peter Arneke quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AB Tårnby's Kenn Fronval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Fioriti in the 85th minute of play. AB Tårnby succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sporting Burgas had controlled the match.
