Özcan Sulasi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Armstrong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özcan Sulasi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 21st minute of play forced Les 3 Quilles FC's goalkeeper Tristan Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jules Spinelli in the 28th minute of play.
