But to his dismay, Jan Plocek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Claus made a kick off. In the 90th minute Andrej Karásek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dezider Šindelka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lanzenkirchen had won after a very even match.
