Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Godwin in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lincoln Hand. After 12 minutes of play, USA's Lincoln Hand made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeu Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Mădălin Ignat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Merlin Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Alinborger from getting a goal against them. Doru Teodoroiu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Teodoroiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of USA booed when FC Alinborger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Teodoroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lincoln Hand in the 32nd minute. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Alinborger from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute Miki Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Lincoln Hand made a precise shot to the right of Tadeu Moraes. FC Alinborger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Reeder got free with Tadeu Moraes in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

USA's Arturo Brownell was substituted for Mitchell Godwin. The wind increased when Merlin Castro made the kick off in the second half. If Merlin Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Joseph Reeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Reeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55th play minutes Lincoln Hand shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Tadeu Moraes and just under the crossbar into goal. Lincoln Hand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA's Claudio Marangoni was substituted for Gerald Bradshaw. The supporters of USA booed when FC Alinborger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Buteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Miki Moco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Alinborger defense, Kerry Sellers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeu Moraes. The FC Alinborger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeu Moraes should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Merlin Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeu Moraes. FC Alinborger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Merlin Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merlin Castro in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Moraes saved FC Alinborger from getting behind. Kerry Sellers took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Arturo Brownell managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Brownell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeu Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kerry Sellers hit a great ball. Joseph Reeder took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Castro in the 92nd minute of the match. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Reeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Castro in the 96th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that USA were the better team. USA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
