In the 6th minute Yan Wei Gang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Birila in the 7th minute of play forced Expedition Lubin's goalkeeper Astor Guipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Lu Guo Guo put in a rough tackle. Dawid Bienienda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Expedition Lubin were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after 11ABRASIL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. J.P. T. Hansen took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in 11ABRASIL's zone, Patrice Pacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Zoff came out of the goal and Patrice Pacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the game, Vladimír Šmicer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 11ABRASIL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Expedition Lubin the free kick. In the 45th minute, Vladimír Šmicer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. J.P. T. Hansen took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Bienienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Teofil Zagrobelny might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Zoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofil Zagrobelny ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd match minute, Expedition Lubin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Wei Gang to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Per Hellgren made a precise shot to the right of Astor Guipuzkoa. Expedition Lubin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 71st minute of the match Expedition Lubin got a corner. 11ABRASIL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. J.P. T. Hansen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The 11ABRASIL fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when 11ABRASIL's German Birila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Patrice Pacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When German Birila fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 11ABRASIL's protests and gave German Birila a yellow card for diving instead. German Birila hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Expedition Lubin got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Bienienda. Astor Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Hellgren in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, J.P. T. Hansen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Zagrobelny in the 89th minute of play. Dawid Bienienda kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Dawid Bienienda shot a free kick towards goal which, to his disappointment, went just outside the left post. The 11ABRASIL support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
