In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queens of Lublin's goalkeeper Qiao Bing Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Santarém's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiao Bing Zheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslaw Dykes in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarando Calva saved Atlético de Caracas from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mircea Ignătescu. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Mircea Ignătescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zarando Calva to make any attempt to save it. Queens of Lublin's Qiao Bing Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Santarém in the 21st minute of play. Nuno Santarém's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiao Bing Zheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Atlético de Caracas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Piotr Moizuk in the 26th minute. Zarando Calva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslaw Dykes in the 28th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Marcin Turek in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético de Caracas's Yaar O'Connell. 34 minutes into the game, Marcin Turek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Emiliano Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qiao Bing Zheng having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Queens of Lublin's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Santarém came free, but Qiao Bing Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ale Brama. In the 47th minute, Queens of Lublin's Ale Brama ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zarando Calva. Zarando Calva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After having played for 58 minutes, Nuno Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Caracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Qiao Bing Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Santarém in the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Santarém got free with Qiao Bing Zheng in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ale Brama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miroslaw Dykes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zarando Calva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Sixto Lluc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético de Caracas and the Queens of Lublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 99th minute Atlético de Caracas were awarded a corner. Piotr Moizuk went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Atlético de Caracas's corner Piotr Moizuk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qiao Bing Zheng quite easily take care of the ball. Queens of Lublin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
