Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Wei Gang, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the 11ABRASIL defense, Yan Wei Gang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. The 11ABRASIL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Zoff should have stopped the shot. Astor Guipuzkoa made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Per Hellgren sent off a good shot on target. 11ABRASIL were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Expedition Lubin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Katsivalis took the corner. Vladimír Šmicer made a great header on 11ABRASIL's corner, it was just that Expedition Lubin's Astor Guipuzkoa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 23rd minute Patrice Pacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Guipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Pluciennik in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, 11ABRASIL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Macchia to maneuver through the defense. Astor Guipuzkoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Hellgren in the 30th minute. After 30 played minutes 11ABRASIL got a freekick which was hit by Vladimír Šmicer. Dino Zoff came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Expedition Lubin's Yan Wei Gang. But to his dismay, Yan Wei Gang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Astor Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Hellgren in the 34th minute of play. Expedition Lubin's Astor Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Hellgren in the 40th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Expedition Lubin got a freekick which was hit by Luis Ronaldo. Astor Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Pluciennik, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

53 minutes into the match, Expedition Lubin's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Pluciennik came free, but Astor Guipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Nicu Vornic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Expedition Lubin booed when 11ABRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Teofil Zagrobelny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 11ABRASIL's Dino Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astor Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75thth minute of the game Yan Wei Gang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 11ABRASIL's Dino Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Pluciennik in the 82nd minute of play forced Expedition Lubin's goalkeeper Astor Guipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lu Guo Guo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Pluciennik, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
