Ademar Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Rossi in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Sena notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Borgo Doria F.C.'s Corrado Spitaleri. Corrado Spitaleri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borgo Doria F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabio Bottone in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Borgo Doria F.C. got a corner. Bizard FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio Bottone ran over to the corner to take the kick. Borgo Doria F.C.'s Fabio Bottone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ademar Fernandes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alberto Scutti scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Fabio Bottone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademar Fernandes was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Corrado Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 74th minute of play.
