After 26 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Marco Gurutz. Bernardino Dimas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huang Bing Ran in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, 1947 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Inautzi came free, but Atıf Mertoğul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atıf Mertoğul came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Angelino Inautzi. But to his dismay, Angelino Inautzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bernardino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 40th minute of the match. When Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the 1947 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Paulo Ferrari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Ferrari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atıf Mertoğul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Inautzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Metehan Kahya helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when 1947 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position.
