The supporters of U Alcaravaneras booed when FFC Merainies 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Komen Schotte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bassam Wahbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Gasteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Boukjan Bunt. U Alcaravaneras's Bassam Wahbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Job Gasteren in the 40th minute of play. If Komen Schotte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lionel Ronaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceandro Castillo in the 88th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the match was over FFC Merainies 03 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U Alcaravaneras throughout the match.
