Manuel Campens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blumenau Esporte Clube. Xandinho Sharkin made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pagos FC's Nuralp Akbal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuralp Akbal in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuralp Akbal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nuralp Akbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Campens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Mjölnir Martelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pagos FC's Manuel Campens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 28th minute of play. It was beautiful to see Pagos FC's Mircea Teodor in action when he in the 34th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 40th minute, Xandinho Sharkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Montae took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fábio Leite. Luiz Fábio Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuralp Akbal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mircea Teodor who took care of the corner kick. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Francisco Montae put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Fábio Leite. Pagos FC made a substitution. The audience was convinced that Christos Bartzokas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fábio Leite was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionel Mirea in the 92nd minute of play. If Christos Bartzokas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Fábio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Bartzokas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the referee ended the match the Pagos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
