In the 14th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Wayne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruce Wayne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Bruce Wayne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 20th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Cesar Domingues sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 31st minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Bruce Wayne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Wayne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cesar Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Salvidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Cristo Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Bruce Wayne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriele Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Cesar Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, one of Mörknäs Electric Vikings:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Menchu FC's Peter Söderqwist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bruce Wayne. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruce Wayne having to make a save. In the 60th minute of the match, Gabriele Batistuta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruce Wayne saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65th minute Menchu FC were awarded a corner. Abdoulay Doucouré went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Abdoulay Doucouré got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruce Wayne quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 68 minutes of play, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Cesar Domingues made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruce Wayne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 82nd minute of play. Menchu FC's Aristides Inge was substituted for Carlos Campelo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 92nd minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Bruce Wayne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mörknäs Electric Vikings booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Caetano Linhares got a free kick in the 96th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Ekenberg in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Salvidor saved Menchu FC from getting behind.
The Mörknäs Electric Vikings supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Menchu FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Menchu FC.
