In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Turok came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gliwicka Torcida's Claudinho Taffarel got control of the ball when Mehat Kovaçi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖树鸿, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Fabian Bator put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when Gliwicka Torcida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Gliwicka Torcida's Claudinho Taffarel got control of the ball when Mehat Kovaçi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Mehat Kovaçi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudinho Taffarel. The goal made the score 1-1. Mehat Kovaçi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Claudinho Taffarel made a huge save. The corner led to Cougars FC's Bianco Natale getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gliwicka Torcida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Mehat Kovaçi scored to the left of an out of position Claudinho Taffarel, making the score, 2-1. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Turok, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Turok in the 33rd minute of play. Pawel Turok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateusz Grajewski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Morales in the 48th minute of play forced Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Mehat Kovaçi made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Karel Šnajdr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehat Kovaçi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinho Taffarel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 62nd minute of play forced Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi. But to his dismay, Mehat Kovaçi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 79th minute of the match. Mehat Kovaçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Cougars FC got a corner. Gliwicka Torcida's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angel Morales ran over to the corner to take the kick. Steffen Gimlinge might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steffen Gimlinge ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Gimlinge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 肖树鸿 took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Arnoud de Pelsmakere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cougars FC had won after a very even match.
