An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Edström in the 13th minute of play forced Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paul Christini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lilla Jordberga BK's Lennart Johansson got control of the ball when Ernesto Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lennart Johansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heleno de Freitas's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas-Jan Thomas in the 24th minute of play forced Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paul Christini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mendiko in the 35th minute of play. Lennart Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heleno de Freitas in the 37th minute of play. Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Djalma Di Filippo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Simão Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lilla Jordberga BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Bernardo Semeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lilla Jordberga BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edson Futebol Clube the free kick. A collision led to Lilla Jordberga BK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bernardo Semeno hit a great ball. Ernesto Fontes struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Lennart Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edson Futebol Clube.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Lilla Jordberga BK's Jorge Mendiko started the play with his kick off. Arne Edström charged in rather forcefully in the 101st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Edström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heleno de Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 109th minute. Lennart Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Heleno de Freitas did a quick kick off. Lennart Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heleno de Freitas in the 119th minute of the match. With a little luck, Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini got control of the ball when Jorge Mendiko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The attack was good, but when Simão Rosado in the 122nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 125th match minute, Lilla Jordberga BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beka Yumin to maneuver through the defense. In the 126th minute of the match Tao Xing Yong sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Johansson skillfully saved the ball. Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas-Jan Thomas in the 128th minute of play. 129 minutes had been played when some careless play by Edson Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simão Rosado was slow to take the kick. During this time Lilla Jordberga BK's players had a chance to rest. After 131 minutes of play, Edson Futebol Clube's Panos Karkantos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Johansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edson Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
