Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Goicoechea to make the kick off. After 53 minutes LKS Wasik Lidzbark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Ferdinand who took care of the corner kick. Club Atlético Atlanta's Ciro Ferdinand was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filip Topolski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59th minute LKS Wasik Lidzbark were awarded a corner. Pankracy Rasiak went to the cornerflag to take it. Dariusz Borkowski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu Freitas in the 61st minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Ziemowit Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Smolarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Dudu Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Duszenski in the 93rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Goicoechea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Topolski was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LKS Wasik Lidzbark eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
