In the 14th minute, Víktor Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of André Courtois. Templars FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Víktor Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Courtois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Víktor Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. André Courtois came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by 17 de enero team's Víktor Magalhães. But to his dismay, Víktor Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Kovács in the 27th minute of play. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Magalhães in the 40th minute of the match. With 42 minutes on the clock, Venancio Hernando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zoran Simović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 叶默崇s shot in the 57th of the game seemed impossible, but André Courtois made a great throw and managed to grab the ball before it went below the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match 17 de enero team got a corner. Templars FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Costin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Víktor Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 67th minute of play forced 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Zoran Simović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 17 de enero team getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Joel Gamus hit a great ball. Jonathan Sammut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoran Simović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute Jonathan Sammut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoran Simović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Jonathan Sammut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Templars FC's André Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Evan Vancell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Sammut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zoran Simović having to make a save. Zoran Simović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. 叶默崇 made the kick off and play began. Zoran Simović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the 17 de enero team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Templars FC.
