If Boleslaw Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mattis Magic Team's Konrad Bubczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lyons's Marcos Berasko got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Komornicki in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Quinten saved Lyons from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Björklund got free with Luisito Quinten in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roch Komornicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Luisito Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konrad Bubczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Boleslaw Zielinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konrad Bubczyk having to make a save. A hard shot 33 in the game by Ronny Skytt from a close distance when the talented Luisito Quinten managed to make a qualified save. Lyons's players were relieved. When Boleslaw Zielinski came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Lyons fans jumped to their feet. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boleslaw Zielinski was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roch Komornicki in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Quinten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Roch Komornicki, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luisito Quinten was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrad Bubczyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Tomas Björklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyons's Luisito Quinten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mattis Magic Team's zone, Boleslaw Zielinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Bubczyk came out of the goal and Boleslaw Zielinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lyons's Stig Åkerberg was substituted for Aurelio Vasco. Ronny Skytt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Luisito Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konrad Bubczyk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dariusz Roano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Roch Komornicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Quinten was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
