In the 9th match minute, Vila Nova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Postelnicescu to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Csongor Csorba came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Jonas Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Cesaro in the 15th minute of the match. András Horváth was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Leonardo Giroud capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Giroud really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Szajk LC's András Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Postelnicescu in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csongor Csorba in the 21st minute of play forced Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. András Horváth made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Mete Nared sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zalán Kovács in the 25th minute of play forced Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Giroud during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Jiang Nan Han hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 52nd minute Jiang Nan Han shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zalán Kovács in the 57th minute of play forced Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. András Horváth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mete Nared's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Leonardo Giroud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szajk LC made a substitution. Levente Makkai replaced Csongor Csorba. Szajk LC's Lajos Szuper was substituted for Zénó Polgár. In the 76th minute Mete Nared shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Luca Postelnicescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. András Horváth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the Szajk LC defense, Cléber Basso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of András Horváth. The Szajk LC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that András Horváth should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Cléber Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Szajk LC's zone, Mete Nared stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. András Horváth came out of the goal and Mete Nared tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cléber Basso took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised András Horváth. András Horváth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

Vila Nova FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
