Sandro Santos was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Ruud van Nistelrooij capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 19th minute, Federico Tedeschi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Patrício came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Wanderson Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Balestra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Tedeschi's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Alumiara SD's goalie and right to Ennio Daniele. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Alumiara SD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 27th minute, Federico Tedeschi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calenzano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Siqueira in the 30th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Donato Balestra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Calenzano's Ruud van Nistelrooij sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandro Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandro Santos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Calenzano's Ruud van Nistelrooij. But to his dismay, Ruud van Nistelrooij quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Patrício in the 43rd minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Donato Balestra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Wanderson Siqueira made a precise shot to the right of Donato Balestra. Calenzano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sandro Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Tedeschi, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Federico Tedeschi sped through FC Alumiara SD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sandro Santos. In the 54th minute, Alessio Santini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Calenzano's Donato Balestra got control of the ball when Wanderson Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Balestra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Patrício, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 62 minutes of play, FC Alumiara SD's Wanderson Siqueira made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Balestra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calenzano made a substitution. Arturo Di Matteo replaced Ruud van Nistelrooij. Calenzano made a substitution. Sandro Santos came out of the goal and Arturo Di Matteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, one of FC Alumiara SD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Alumiara SD. In the 95th minute Arturo Di Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Di Matteo in the 96th minute of play forced FC Alumiara SD's goalkeeper Sandro Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Alumiara SD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Calenzano.
