After 22 minutes La Pointe Courte's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Burak Orkan who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of La Pointe Courte's goalie and right to Olcay Orkun Gökekin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. La Pointe Courte's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Donovan Daval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gao Yang Yan made a huge save. Egun Zapico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Prestin in the 26th minute of play. Gianluca Prestin spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goal. In the 29th minute, Josué Pagueguy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Felenak came free, but Egun Zapico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Gao Yang Yan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donovan Daval. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Felenak in the 35th minute of play. Egun Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Felenak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Prestin in the 41st minute of play forced ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant Soysaldı didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donovan Daval stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Leite in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egun Zapico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Yves Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Estevão Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gao Yang Yan was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Pointe Courte had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
