In the 41st minute Duke Carnduff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Dres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mo Salah in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Dres saved Underdogs from getting behind. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Underdogs's Stiff Meister was substituted for Lasse Penttilä.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mo Salah to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Witomir Grabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Dres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randle Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato De Laurentiis got free with Duncan Mcinnes in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Dres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randle Rutledge in the 97th minute of play.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Underdogs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
