Sirius Dog's Cecilio Berenguer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stayko Gorbanov in the 5 minute of the game. Sirius Dog's Alejo Baumer was substituted for Gervasio Chano. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Canarinho Atordoado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sirius Dog:s goal. Canarinho Atordoado:s Dé Mello showed great skill when he stopped Emiliano Oliviero:s penalty. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Dé Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute of the match Sirius Dog got a corner. Canarinho Atordoado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emiliano Oliviero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeronimo Millan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Leo in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Mariusz Fink got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeronimo Millan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jeronimo Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Leo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Leo in the 62nd minute of play. The throw-in from Stayko Gorbanov in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sirius Dog's Cecilio Berenguer. 68 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Seabra came free, but Jeronimo Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Azibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Dé Mello made a huge save. Canarinho Atordoado's Anísio Queirós was substituted for Tuncer İlbaşı. Sirius Dog's Norberto Cugat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dé Mello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jeronimo Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Rat in the 81st minute of play. Jeronimo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Rat, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Alejo Baumer scored 1-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dé Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateo Romano hit a great freekick 107 minutes into the match. After having played for 108 minutes, Luiz Leo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Leo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Canarinho Atordoado's Gustave Rat did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. In the 119th minute, Luiz Leo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbano Lapurdi kicked well hit freekick during the 127th minute of the match. 129 minutes into the game, Alejo Baumer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dé Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Canarinho Atordoado manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sirius Dog to win.
