In the 9thth minute of the game Gigel Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Brăiloiu in the 12th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samet Ağar in the 15th minute of play. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samet Ağar in the 15th minute of the match. Wilhelm Nienhaus scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Leahu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes in the game, Wilhelm Nienhaus dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. Felix Leahu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the F.C. YKE defense, Gigel Elenescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Leahu. The F.C. YKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Leahu should have stopped the shot. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodri Gol in the 31st minute of play. F.C. YKE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Twan van Nistelrooij in the 33rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Michael Jordan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 36th minute, Lüder Roppel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Felix Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Gigel Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Leahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes F.C. YKE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moritz Hasenjäger who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd minute, Rodri Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Twan van Nistelrooij who took care of the corner kick. Samet Ağar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Jarstein having to make a save. Felix Leahu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Samet Ağar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Jarstein was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hertha 1969 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
