The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to VN SOKOLI-VARNA getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Okaner Kornes hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Todorov came free, but Albino Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Albert Rudberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester Quijano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hong Feng Jian in the 15th minute of play. Hong Feng Jian took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albino Berriotxoa. Albino Berriotxoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Albino Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong Feng Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match VN SOKOLI-VARNA got a corner. Manchester Quijano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ayoub Adel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Avram Octavian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa did a great save. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Okaner Kornes with Qiao Qing Ying as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 33rd minute, Hong Feng Jian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Berriotxoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Albert Rudberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester Quijano's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Rudberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lilko Timov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Quijano's zone, Qiao Qing Ying stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Berriotxoa came out of the goal and Qiao Qing Ying tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Emiliano Lesardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Lilko Timov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferran Torres made a kick off. Albino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferran Torres in the 55th minute of play. If Qiao Qing Ying had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Berriotxoa made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Marian Todorov sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Lesardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lilko Timov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Manchester Quijano booed when VN SOKOLI-VARNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiao Qing Ying didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qiao Qing Ying got free with Albino Berriotxoa in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albert Rudberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Qiao Qing Ying could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Albino Berriotxoa however easily saved by the left post. Lilko Timov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Lesardo in the 77th minute of the match. Hong Feng Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Berriotxoa having to interfere. Manchester Quijano made a substitution. Herminio Anaya replaced Kyle Blacknell. The crowd rose to their feet as VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Ferran Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albino Berriotxoa. That made the score 1-3 after 83 minutes of play. Qiao Qing Ying who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Albino Berriotxoa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester Quijano from getting a goal against them.

The VN SOKOLI-VARNA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VN SOKOLI-VARNA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
