In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the match, Yu Jian Tian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ni Jun Sha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelino Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kornél Ács in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Valter Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute of the match, Wen Hai Le got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ni Jun Sha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

Brothers of Mercy's Alex Axelsson was substituted for Roger Strömberg. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yu Jian Tian to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Flor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Valler went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Valter Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Teofilo Galtero was substituted for Danilo Gerber. In the 59th match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Ahlerot to maneuver through the defense. Ni Jun Sha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Sand in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game José Sand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brothers of Mercy's Ni Jun Sha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, José Sand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Ovidio Marin was substituted for Wen Hai Le. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Ni Jun Sha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Despite this Ni Jun Sha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 78th minute, José Sand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ni Jun Sha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 84 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Di Yi Yuan. After 85 played minutes ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Hartz. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Alex Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brothers of Mercy's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Ovidio Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Jun Sha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
