Grzegorz Zieba's late challenge caught a Olimpia HSB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grzegorz Zieba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chigüires De Mogadiscio getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Grzegorz Zieba hit a great ball. Huib 甘 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Huib 甘 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Morientes in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Naldo Esteves in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Nikola Mirotić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grzegorz Rasiak made a kick off. Huib 甘 came out of the goal and Fabian Czeszejko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Olimpia HSB fully deserved thier win.
