In the 5th minute Larry Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Harriet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but A.J. 关平 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Teukros Diplarakos made a great header on Empire of Soccer's corner, it was just that Vivant's A.J. 关平 managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Empire of Soccer's Nestor Guillelmus got control of the ball when Larry Hallam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Larry Hallam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Guillelmus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. If Ladislao Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Vivant's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Harriet came free, but A.J. 关平 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Xanthos Fikias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. A.J. 关平 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vivant's A.J. 关平 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xanthos Fikias in the 30th minute of play. Marin Lipets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Nestor Guillelmus made a huge save. Nestor Guillelmus made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Larry Hallam sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilário Bento in the 35th minute of the match. A.J. 关平 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Hilário Bento came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firmin Mendialdura made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Empire of Soccer's 김 용. In the 62nd minute Ladislao Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but A.J. 关平 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivant's Marin Lipets got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Vivant's goalkeeper A.J. 关平 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Harriet. After 80 played minutes Vivant got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Cisneros. Teukros Diplarakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but A.J. 关平 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Hilário Bento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Guillelmus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Empire of Soccer's Nestor Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Lipets in the 92nd minute of play. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Vivant's Larry Hallam that got to make the kick off. Empire of Soccer's Nestor Guillelmus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Empire of Soccer from getting a goal against them. A.J. 关平 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 104th minute of the match. If Larry Hallam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 106th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Guillelmus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Larry Hallam in the 108th minute. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. 122 minutes into the game, Larry Hallam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vivant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Empire of Soccer the free kick. After 122 played minutes Vivant got a freekick which was hit by Larry Hallam. Marin Lipets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 125th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 132nd minute of the match, but A.J. 关平 made a huge save. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

Nestor Guillelmus had in the 138thth minute some difficulties stopping Ilmar Pregel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience cheered when Valeriu Sfetcu's long shot passed Nestor Guillelmus's right side. It was 3-2, 142 minutes into the match. Vivant:s Nestor Guillelmus showed great skill when he stopped Hernán Grana:s penalty. The audience cheered when Hernán Grana's long shot passed A.J. 关平's right side. It was 3-3, 143 minutes into the match. Empire of Soccer's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
